1. Who operates the project
NexaCloudHub is independently operated under the public name Vlad D., based in Romania. Contact: contact@nexacloudhub.com.
This notice covers Steam Account Switcher, the Windows utility for accounts already remembered by Steam. It is separate from Valve and Steam; it is not an official Steam service. This notice distinguishes information processed locally by the application from information received by NexaCloudHub through a hosted service or support request.
2. Information read and stored locally
The utility reads Steam’s remembered-account information and selected local configuration. This can include SteamID, login username, display name, last-login timestamp and selection state. It stores the folders, notes, settings, account metadata and cached public profile information that make up your local library.
The app’s records are stored in the local Windows user’s SteamFolderSwitcher data directory. Configuration updates can create .steam-switcher.bak files beside changed Steam files, and the app can keep a previous state copy for recovery. These local files are not described as encrypted credentials storage; protect the Windows account and device that can access them.
3. Switching and public profile requests
Switching selects the remembered account by updating Steam’s local selection/configuration and relevant current-user registry values. The app does not ask for Steam passwords or Steam Guard codes; Steam performs any required sign-in or verification.
Public profile checks and avatars contact Steam Community and approved Steam image hosts. Those hosts receive the requested public identifier or asset and normal network information such as the IP address. Public VAC or Limited status can be missing or out of date; the cache is not a private account verification service. Optional copied profile or lookup links contact the external destination only when opened.
4. Purpose and receipt by the operator
Local data is used to organize the remembered account library, display selected details, switch accounts and recover configuration changes. This version has no app account or synchronization service that automatically uploads the library to NexaCloudHub. The operator receives information if you contact support or use the website. Support is handled on the basis of the requested assistance, legitimate interests in maintaining the project or applicable legal obligations. Valve and other destinations process their network requests under their own policies.
5. Retention and removal
The library, notes, preferences, cache and local recovery copies remain until removed through app or device controls. Forget removes the account from Steam’s remembered list and the switcher; it does not revoke that account’s sessions on other devices. Deleting a folder moves its accounts to Ungrouped rather than deleting the accounts.
Uninstalling does not necessarily erase retained local state. Remove app data and recovery copies separately if you intend to erase them, taking care not to delete Steam information you still need. NexaCloudHub cannot remotely erase local-only files. Support correspondence is kept as needed for the issue or a legal obligation.
6. Support correspondence
If you email NexaCloudHub, the message, sender address, any name you include, attachments and relevant reply history are processed to handle your request. Share only the details needed for the issue. Local files and records described below are not automatically sent to the operator merely because they exist on your device; they may reach us if you deliberately include them in support correspondence.
7. Your rights and requests
Where GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, subject to the conditions of those rights. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact contact@nexacloudhub.com and identify the service and account concerned. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the request; do not send passwords, access tokens or your entire mailbox.
Requests are handled within the applicable legal time limits, normally within one month; an extension may apply to complex or multiple requests, with an explanation. You may complain to a competent supervisory authority, including Romania’s ANSPDCP. These projects do not make solely automated decisions intended to produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
